What does StarterSet do for me?

The free PPTools Starter Set and the inexpensive Starter Set Plus upgrade add a slew of useful tools to PowerPoint, including:
- Zoom tools that are easier and faster to use than PowerPoint's View, Zoom command
- Tools to help you place multiple pictures or shapes in exactly the same position on many slides or to automatically size pictures and shapes to fill a slide with one click of the mouse
- Text tools to make it simpler to size text, change text case or create small caps
- Tools to let you import pictures using a standard Windows file chooser that's faster than PowerPoint's dialog box (and it remembers where you last got pictures from instead of forcing you to back to My Pictures each and every time)
- Tools to add PowerPoint 2000-style comments to your PowerPoint 2002/2003 presentations or to convert new-style comments to old-style ones so people with older versions of PowerPoint can see your comments
- Tools to let you manage the "stacking order" of shapes on your slides, rename shapes, make them visible/invisible and more
- Tools to give you information about any selected shape; an enhanced version of the same tool lets you inspect and even rename multiple shapes, edit links, add tags and more
- A units calculator tool that works in pixels, points, inches and centimeters AND that tells you how large the selected shape will be (in pixels) during a full-screen slide presentation.
- More handy tools that launch Windows utilities like Notepad, Character Map, Media Player, Calculator, Sound Recorder and Volume Control, right from within PowerPoint
- A tool to "round-trip" a presentation to HTML and back; this can help solve problems with corrupted PowerPoint files. While round-tripping, it can also remove references to East Asian fonts.
